American Saber-Toothed Cat Concept

Cut-out in Photoshop.

Blended the Cut-Out with Multiply.

Added Colours.

Added markings on the Sabertooth Cat based from Clouded Leopards, Lynxes, Bobcats, Jaguars, Ocelots and Tigers.

Change the body colour into a brownish colour.

Added Shading and Lighting.

Before finishing off the concept with a shadow below the Saber-Toothed Cat.

Here is the concept art of an American Saber-Toothed Cat.
Unlike the three creature concepts, which looked more like illustrations, I decided to make a more conceptual artwork like the Great Tyrantdragoness and her dragonling Concept and Dinovember - Great Tyrantdragon.

I changed the Saber-Toothed Cat's look; its mane is now the same colour as its pelage.

It is a personal project for an animated series and to brush up on my creative skills.
It is also the concept art for Paleoctober.
