King of the Great Ice Age

In Eastern Ukraine, during The Great Ice Age, 10.00 BC (Evolutionary Age) 2250 BC, (Post-flood Period).

A pale Pantherine cat patrols his territory in the grassy steppes of Eastern Ukraine.
He is the king of his domain and the apex predator of Pleistocene Eurasia, Alaska and Canada.
His name is the Steppe Lion, famously known as the Cave Lion (Panthera spelaea).

I created this illustration during my holiday in Zambia last year as a fun project for two reasons; to celebrate World Lion Day and show my support for Ukraine.
